What We Look For
- Full registration with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) or the Registrar of Companies (ROC) for at least 1 year.

- Location: Any nationwide project
- Project Timeline: September – December 2023
- Projects that conserve, preserve and protect the heritage by a proactive organisation in its practicing arts discipline
- Projects that can instill positive change in the community and within the arts fraternity
- Projects which give impactful, measurable results;
- Reach (number of audience, number of media exposure/coverage, significant social media presence)
- Improved livelihood/income of the artisans and/or community
- Provide access to artisans to new skills, segments and opportunities
- Sustainability of the projects (potential for the projects to generate income (i.e. is it a ticketed/free event?, scalability factor- aspiration to be regional players)
- Ideas that are replicable and/or scalable that can be mobilised to other areas/communities
- Potential in influencing/contributing to policymaking in arts and heritage
What We Do Not Support
- Individual sponsorships, including those for participation in workshops, seminars, or studies
- Projects which are not aligned with our Arts, Heritage and Public Spaces focus area
- Projects which promote political campaigns and/or political in nature
- Purchase of equipment or purchase/renovation of buildings for commercial purposes
- Projects primarily aimed at charitable donations and profit-making activities
- On-going projects which are already funded by a Hasanah grant
- Faith-based activities

What To Expect
STEP 1: Eligibility Assessment
Our grant application process starts with an Eligibility Assessment, which all applicants have to go through.
Before submitting your Eligibility Assessment, please be sure to have the following documentation ready:
- Full registration with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) or the Registrar of Companies (ROC) for at least 1 year
Our team will take 1-3 working days to determine if you are eligible.
STEP 2: Creating an Organisation Profile
If you are eligible, our team will get in touch with a link to access our grant portal where you can start your application by first creating your Organisation’s Profile.
STEP 3: Completing the Grant Application
Once you have created your Profile, you will be re-directed to a page where you can start your grant application. Each organisation may submit more than one grant application but be sure to keep one application to one specific project.

Open for eligibility submissions. Applicants to submit required documents to check their eligibility for grant application
1 - 30 April 2023
Open for proposal submissions. After confirmation of eligibility, applicants can start submitting grant applications
4 April 2023
